Coming from Hungary, I approach winemaking with Old-World philosophy and try to make the best wines by embracing New World terroir. I don’t like to manipulate my wines -- I don’t add acid, tannin, or water to adjust the flavor of the wine. I want my wine to be a true reflection of the fruit from each vintage with minimal intervention. I really rely on the vineyards to produce quality fruit, so having good relationships with our growers is important.
